What is the process for gaining a CompTIA Server+ certification?
The CompTIA Server+ certification is designed for those working in roles such as web site administrators, systems engineers, network engineers, security analysts and network administrators.
It demonstrates a holder has an understanding of server issues and tecnology including system recovery and covers a number of topics including:
- Disaster recovery
- IT environment
- Hardware
- Software
- Storage
- Troubleshooting
Those looking to complete the course should have between a year and half and two years' experience working in an IT environment, preferably working with server technology, and it is recommended they are already CompTIA A+ certified.
To achieve certification candidates must complete the SK0-003 exam and it is strongly recommended they complete the available training beforehand.
