How do I gain the CCNA Wireless certification?

The Cisco Certified Network Associate Wireless (CCNA Wireless) certification is designed for IT professionals working in roles such as WLAN project management, Wireless Support Specialists, supporting wirelss LANS or network administration.

Certified individuals will have a validation of their ability to configure, implement and support wireless LANs, especially on Cisco-driven networks. The exam itself, and supplementary course, will give candidates the skills they need to configure, monitor and troubleshoot the basic requirements of a Cisco WLAN in SMB and Enterprise Networks.

As a prerequisite for the qualification, candidates should already have a valid CCNA or any CCIE certification. To complete the CCNA Wireless candidates must complete the 640-721 IUWNE exam and it is strongly recommended they complete the available course beforehand to ensure they have covered all the relevant material.
