How do I become an OCA for the Solaris 10 Operating System
The Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), Oracle Solaris 10 Operating System (OS) certification is an entry-level qualification designed to give participants a grounding in UNIX with a Solaris OS focus and teaching them fundamental commands and tasks.
Although there are no prerequisites for certification, it is strongly recommended candidates complete the SA-100-S10 course as it will give them the hands-on experience required to complete the qualification.
Once completed, the certification demonstrates a holder has the necessary skills to:
- View and use Solaris components
- View and search directoriesand files
- Perform advanced shell functionality
- Archive files and perform remote transfers
To achieve certification, candidates must complete the 1Z0-876 exam.
