The Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) for Citrix XenApp 5 for Windows Server 2008 demonstrates an in-depth understanding of XenApp solutions operating on Windows Server 2008.

The certification validates a successful candidate's skills installing, configuring and administering the system on a Windows Server 2008 platform in an enterprise environment.

Certification is achieved by completing the A05 exam and it is highly recommended candidates complete the CXA-201-2 or CXA-201-1 training course beforehand to ensure they have covered all the relevant material. Topics covered in both include the configuration of published resources, streaming applications, policies, printers, settings for individual server and server farms and load elevators in addition to the skills required for the implementation, deployment and administration of XenApp components such as Secure Gateway, Installation Manager, Web Interface, Load Manager and Application Streaming.
