How do I achieve the RHCVA certification?
The Red Hat Certified Virtualization Administraor (RHCVA™) certification is designed for system administrators, virtual environment designers or virtualisation administrators and serves to demonstrate a holder's ability in the management of virtual solutions.
Virtualisation allows the range of enterprise workloads to be run on one system and the RHCVA certification covers all the features of Red Hat Enterprise Linux with the advanced Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization platform.
Skills gained through certification include:
- Deployment and management of virtual servers and desktops
- Creation, deployment, management and migration of Linux and Windows virtual machines hosted on RHEV Hypervisor or Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers dedicated nodes using RHEV Manager
Candidates should either be RHCT or RHCSA qualified or have equivalent experience with Linux systems. It would also be preferable to have system administrator experience with Windows and, although not a prerequisite, it is strongly recommended candidates attend the Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization training course.
