How do I achieve the JNCIA-WX certification?

The Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA-WX) certification demonstrates a moderate level of ability and understanding of Juniper Networks WAN Acceleration (WX) and WAN Acceleration Cache (WXC).

It is designed for experienced professionals working to implement and deploy the WX and WXC platforms, which includes roles such as reseller support personnel, support personnel and network engineers. While there is no certification prerequisite for it, candidates are expected to have a prior understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching and WAN protocols.

To achieve certification candidates must complete the JN0-311 exam and it is strongly recommended they complete the Operating Juniper Networks WX Application Acceleration Platforms training course to ensure they have covered all the topics in the exam. These include:

  • Installing, configuring and compressing
  • Operation and management
  • Route learning
  • Quality of service
  • Packet and application flow acceleration
  • The WX central management system
  • Monitoring, reporting and troubleshooting
