How can I become an IBM Certified Designer for Cognos 10 BI Reports?
The IBM Certified Designer - Cognos 10 BI Reports certification is aimed at those new to a professional report author role whose work involves constructing reports with relational data models, using their skills to enhance, customise and mange professional reports.
Prospective candidates should be skilled in the use of Windows and the internet and should have some understanding of XML. As part of the preparation for the certification candidates will learn how to create, focus and enhance reports, create them using the query model, set them up for bursting and manage events using agents.
Certification is achieved by completing the COG-612 exam. To ensure candidates are adequately prepared it is recommended they complete all available training.
