How does MyTrainingExpert select its Training providers?

MyTrainingExpert only recruits reputable and appropriately qualified Training providers used by the UK's leading blue chip and FTSE 100 organisations. We are vendor-independent which means we do not employ trainers or have any ownership of training providers, and so we remain entirely on your side of the fence and are completely impartial in our advice and recommendations.

How do I pay for my Course?

Payment for a course must be received 15 days prior to course start date. MyTrainingExpert accepts the following forms of payment:

  • Electronic funds transfer (BACS)
  • Debit card (Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Delta, Maestro, Switch)
  • Credit card (MasterCard, Visa) (add 2.5% processing fee)

Do I need a public course or an in-house group course?

Public courses are run by a third party training company at their own venue and anybody can sign up to attend them. They enable individuals with specific training needs from different backgrounds to share experiences, network and learn with people from a variety of different industries and backgrounds.

In-house group courses are run typically at your offices or at a venue rented specially for the occasion and will be dedicated solely to your own employees. We will happily run any course in our public schedule as an in-company option like this. We can also source and supply trainers to run any subject and any kind of training you need, in any location that suits you. In house group courses can be more cost-effective if you need to train above a certain number of people in the same skills and they can be tailored to suit your specific requirements. We can:

  • Design unique courses from scratch for you
  • Customise or combine existing course content for optimum results
  • Include particular methods and styles of training, to best suit teams and individuals
  • Incorporate company standards, templates and case-studies for optimum relevance

How do you evaluate your courses?

At MyTrainingExpert, we value our customer's feedback. After every course we will contact you via email to provide feedback on your recent learning experience using our online Evaluation Form. The information you provide allows us to measure and improve the quality of the training we offer through our Service providers.

What If I want to cancel my course?

We understand that course cancellations will happen from time to time. If you need to cancel a course you must notify us by email, quoting your name, course name and event date. Unfortunately we cannot process verbal cancellations. The course will be cancelled in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the original booking. Where refunds are due they will be transferred back to the original card or bank account on which the booking payment was made, and an email notification / credit note will be sent to you as confirmation of the cancellation.

What if a Training provider cancels a course?

Fortunately this is rare. In the event of a cancellation the Training provider will re-arrange the booking at another date and time acceptable to both parities. If this is not possible MyTrainingExpert will reimburse the value of the booking in full and without delay.

What is a 'provisional' booking?

Once we have received notification that you would like to attend a course on a specific date, we will contact the service provider and provisionally hold a space on the course until we receive payment.

What happens after I have made payment?

Once your booking has been confirmed you will receive an email with details relating to the course. Further details, including Joining instructions, venue information, timings and pre-course work (if required) will be sent no later than 15 days before the course date.
