PRINCE2 Foundation

If you are just starting out in project management, or perhaps have some experience in the profession but have never had any formal training or been given a set methodology to follow, then a PRINCE2 Foundation course will be just what you need. It will give you an introduction to the basics of PRINCE2, providing you with an overview of the standard which will cover the organisation, control and management of a project.

The Foundation level qualification will probably be sufficient if your involvement in company projects is limited to a supporting role, however the course would be of benefit to all members of a project management team; administrators, coordinators and managers. It will provide you with a detailed understanding of the PRINCE2 approach, and will teach you how to apply the method to your own working environment.

A PRINCE2 Foundation course will provide the grounding needed in the methodology to approach your projects in a structured fashion, and will set you on the path towards full PRINCE2 certification. The exam will determine whether you have understood the principles and terminology of PRINCE2 and passing it is a pre-requisite for anyone looking to go on and achieve the higher level PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification.
