ITIL Foundation

In 1989, in response to the growing significance of IT on the UK government, a set of books was published on IT Service Management practice. These became known as the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and, now in its third iteration, have become the standard and accepted practices for the management of IT services.

By implementing the best practice approaches of the ITIL service support processes, many organisations have found they are able to maximise the efficiency of their IT Management and IT Service teams rather than purely maintaining day-to-day operations.

Through ITIL certification and participation in the related training courses, IT Service Management professionals can become both equipped with the specialist knowledge to make a different in the workplace and return speaking a common language.

The ITIL Foundation course involves three days of classroom training followed by an exam. This provides an overview of the IT Service Management Lifecycle and its supporting processes, functions and roles in addition to acting as the starting point for professionals in the ITIL certification track. The bridging course allows professionals to transfer to the v3 track and provides an overview of the key updates.

MyTrainingExpert has been working with the leading training providers of ITIL education in the UK for years and can offer you quality training in a range of locations.
